Every Data Fiduciary must publish the contact details of a person who can handle Data Principal queries and grievances. A Data Protection Officer (DPO) is a separate role that's required only for organizations notified as Significant Data Fiduciaries (SDFs). The DPO must be based in India, report to the organization's Board, and act as the primary point of contact with the Data Protection Board, in addition to overseeing grievance handling.
