Yes, customers who are already logged into your Shopify store can access your independently developed or custom platform through Single Sign-On without entering their login credentials again.
The MO: SSO login to LMS, CRM, CMS app uses your Shopify store as the Identity Provider (IdP) and establishes an authenticated session on the connected application.
The general login flow works as follows:
- A customer logs into your Shopify store using Shopify Customer Accounts.
- The customer accesses your custom platform through the configured SSO entry point.
- The miniOrange app handles the authentication process using the configured SSO protocol.
- The customer is redirected to your custom platform and logged in without having to authenticate again.
If the customer already has an active Shopify session, they do not need to enter their credentials again during the SSO process.
