Shopify Customer Accounts, make it easier for shoppers to log in using a 6-digit one-time password (OTP) and a password isn't required to log in. Merchants can also include links in emails that let customers directly access their orders and profiles without needing to sign in. When a customer logs in, the details stored in their account are auto-filled during checkout for a faster checkout experience. Customers can update their customer profile, and the changes will be reflected in the Shopify admin.

Please note: If account type is selected as customer accounts then users will be prompted for MFA (OTP over email) on the first login.
