B2B Company Registration: Before we automate provisioning for new employees, we need to register the company in the Shopify SSO app. Users can register their company by completing the B2B company registration form, providing the company name and one or more associated email domains. Our app allows both store admins and end users to register their company, reducing dependency on the store admin and accelerating the registration process.
Automatic Company Provisioning: Users are automatically assigned to the correct B2B company based on their email domain. So, when a new user signs in with an email address (e.g., procurement@example.com), the system checks if the company domain (example.com) is a verified B2B company. If the B2B company is already verified, the user is immediately assigned to that company with access to company-specific pricing, and product catalogs.
