Why are my deactivated users getting reactivated after performing SSO?

This issue occurs when the Auto Activate Disabled Users setting is enabled in the miniOrange OAuth plugin. When this setting is turned on, any deactivated user attempting to log in via SSO will be automatically reactivated.

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Log in as an admin to your Jira/Confluence instance.
  2. Go to the miniOrange OAuth plugin settings from the left navigation panel.
  3. Navigate to Global SSO Settings.
  4. Locate the Auto Activate Disabled Users option and disable it.
  5. Save the settings.

Once this setting is disabled, deactivated users will not be able to log in via SSO or native login unless an admin explicitly reactivates them.
