1. Not Receiving Push Notifications Make sure notification permissions are enabled for the app.

If notifications are still not working, please refer to the troubleshooting steps for detailed guidance.

2. Want No One to Access the App but Only You? Enable Biometrics and Screen Lock from the app settings to secure access.
3. Seeing a Debugging Alert on Startup (Android)? Go to your phone Settings → Developer Options and disable:

• USB Debugging

• Wireless Debugging

4. Missed a Notification and Can’t Find It? Open the app → Navigate to Pending Notifications → Pull down to refresh the screen.

Any missed notifications should now appear.

5. Want the App in Your Native Language? Go to Settings → App Language and select your preferred language from the supported list.
6. Switching Devices or OS (Android ↔ iOS)? Use the Backup & Restore feature:

• Go to the app Settings → Backup & Restore

• Create a backup on your old device

• Restore it on your new device

7. How to Sync a Wear OS Watch with Your Android Device? Ensure your watch is already paired with your phone.

Open the app → Go to the app Settings → Manage Watch.

8. How to Share Logs with the Developer? Open the app and navigate to Settings → Scroll down to the bottom → Click on “Share Logs with Developer”.
9. How to Configure Third-Party Accounts on miniOrange Authenticator? • Open the app

• Tap the “+” (Add) button on the Home screen

• Select Enter Secret Key

• Enter the Secret Key carefully to generate accurate OTPs

10. Account Already Exists Error? Each account must have a unique User Account (Label).

Try renaming the account to something different.

11. OTP Not Working or Invalid? Ensure your device time is correct.

• Enable Automatic Date & Time in system settings

• OTPs are time-based and will fail if your clock is out of sync

12. Lost Access to Your Device? • Restore from backup if previously configured

• If no backup exists, you may need to reconfigure accounts manually

13. App Crashing or Not Opening? • Restart your device

• Update the app to the latest version

• Clear app cache (not data)

14. What is a Secret Key? A Secret Key is a unique code provided by the service you’re securing.

It is required to generate TOTPs. Keep it safe and never share it.

15. Set Push Notification as 2FA, but Your Phone is Offline? If your device is not connected to the internet, push notifications cannot be delivered.

In such cases, you can:

  • Use an alternative authentication method (such as TOTP), if available.
  • Reconnect your device to the internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) and try again.
16. Is My Data Secure? Yes, all sensitive data is stored securely on your device and protected using encryption and authentication mechanisms.
