This error appears in the miniOrange OTP Login/Register application when the user’s mobile number is either missing from their profile or is incorrectly entered.
To fix this issue:
- Verify if a customer account is already registered on Shopify using that mobile number.
- Enable the “Allow OTP Login for New Users” setting if you want to perform OTP Login with a new phone number that is not already registered on Shopify.
- Enabling this feature allows customers to log in to your Shopify store using OTP, and a new customer account will also be created in Shopify.
