Yes, the plugin is capable of importing and fetching the configuration from the IDP metadata URL or XML file. The IDP metadata can be uploaded by clicking on Upload IDP metadata button under IDP Configuration tab of the plugin.
The Premium and Enterprise versions of the plugin also support IDP metadata sync using which the plugin’s configuration can be auto-updated as per the IDP’s metadata after each fixed interval of time.
