This guide shows you how to set up IDP-initiated SSO for Shopify using Okta. With this setup, users can log in to your Shopify store directly from their Okta dashboard, making access easier and more secure. You'll learn how to configure both Okta and Shopify to get everything working smoothly.
Follow the steps provided below:
- Go to More actions against the IDP you have configured and click on the Show SSO Link button.
- Copy the SSO URL.
- Now go to the application you configured in Okta. Navigate to the Sign On tab and click on Edit.
- Paste the copied SSO URL Link in the Default Relay State section.
- Click on Save.
Testing SSO
- Login into your Okta user Dashboard using your existing credentials.
- Click on the application you have created in Okta.
- You will be auto-logged in to your Shopify Store.
