Using our Content restriction application, you can create a lock on the Shopify Store based on IP address. To enable the IP address-based lock on your Shopify Store, follow the steps mentioned below:

- Navigate to Apps >> LockOn – Restrict Store Content application.
- Click on the Create Lock button.
- Enter the name you’d like to give your lock in the Lock Name input box.
- Under the What to lock section, choose the parts or content of your Shopify store you want to lock.
- Select the Lock Criteria as the I.P Address . You can set 2 types of IP addresses – Single IP and Subnet IP.
- Single IP – Add the IP address that you wish to restrict/allow access from. For example 192.168.1.0
- Subnet IP – Add the IP Address along with the network address that you wish to restrict/allow access from. For example 192.168.1.0/24
- Under the Handle Unauthorized Access section, choose what happen when unauthorized user try to access locked content. You can redirecct them to any store page, login page, any custom URL, or can show custom HTML.
- You can apply the lock immediately or schedule it to activate at a specific time. Set a custom duration for the lock to automatically restrict or reopen access based on your store’s needs.
- Click on Create.
Hence, you’ve added a lock on Shopify store based on the I.P.Address.
