Why is this happening?
WP Engine’s Smart Plugin Manager occasionally misidentifies the paid plugin as an update for the free plugin. This is due to how it scans and compares plugins, even when they are separate products.
What should I do?
You can safely ignore the update notice if:
- You are using the free plugin (downloaded from WordPress.org).
- You have not purchased or installed the paid version.
