There are two methods you can use to fix the issue.
- Manual Mapping:- Here you have to map the group that comes in response with a real Jira group manually.
- On the Fly Group mapping:- Here you just need to enter the group attribute name & the rest of the thing is managed by the plugin itself.
When to use On the Fly Group Mapping:
- IDP’s group name & in Jira’s group name is not the same.
When to use Manual Group Mapping:
- The group name from IDP & group name in Jira are the same.
- If the group is not in Jira and you want to generate and assign a fresh group to the user
