Use On the Fly Group mapping function supplied by the plugin to fix this problem.
Here you just need to enter the group attribute name & the rest of the thing is managed by the plugin itself.
There is also an option called Create New Groups that allows you to generate new groups in the Jira Server if the group does not exist in Jira.
Consider this option activated and in the response, there is the group with name jira-user and this group is not present on the server, in this scenario it will generate a fresh group with name jira-user and assign it to the corresponding user.
If the choice Create new groups is disabled, a fresh group will not be created in Jira & only current Jira Server groups will be considered by the plugin.
